Former IBF Middleweight champion Daniel Geale lost by KO2 against his unheralded countryman Renold Quinlan (11-1, 7KO's) earlier today, and it seems like Geale's days are numbered now.
After suffering KO losses at the hands of Golovkin (in 3) and later at a catch weight against Cotto (4th), this KO loss against what is supposed to be sub-par opposition probably means he's done at world level and becomes cannon fodder for upcominig prospects if he resumes his career.

or the more likely scenario, being obliterated by Golovkin then Cotto (more or less) back to back took
whatever he had left out the gas tank.

come on, noone who watched that barker battle can say he didnt have heart when prime.

he clearly sold his soul to 3G promotions though.

hes been in battles theres no doubt. his skill level has never been elite, but you cant denigrate a mans heart when hes proved it in the ring. Certiainly he lost much of it though well before 3g.

Exactly. Maybe a cashout rubber match with Mundine, but otherwise quitting time.

Yeah, GGG ruined him. It was clear in the Cotto fight that was true, as a prime Geale would have still lost to Cotto.. but not like that. You lose your confidence in boxing and you lost everything... good career though... dude had heart and some skill... never elite.. but good at a lot of things. Sad to see guys go out to guys they'd have easily beaten earlier in their career.

Looks like Geale was completely out of it... Rushed at Quinlan after rising from that KD, good job from the ref.
