There is no way they can deport a guy when he's bringing this kind of business to the country. Did they even have a single boxing match in dubai ever until he settled there?
The Probellum card last night weren’t too bad. They look to have a real talent in Bachkov. Doheny you always know what you’re getting with him. Prograis is a special talent, he didn’t look out he got out of first or second gear and like him or not Edwards is actually a class boxer - unlike his brother. Oh and McGrail looked superb too.
I think they’re planning something really big, not sure what it is. The only thing I can think of is Tyson Fury. Could be wrong.
The Probellum Cards have a wide viewing platform on Sky without a subscription to Sky Sports and no different to Channel 5 or ITV - Sheik Dan Kin Ehan bringing the boxing to the masses but he needs to advertise his cards better.
I think one has to be very careful about underestimating Probellum. There are probably many who are laughing right now but we can wait and see how the situation looks like in 12 months time.
I think you're right. Unless something unexpected happens, Probellum will become a very big player in the world of boxing.
With Probellum it just depends, one how much Kinehan wants to spend and two if big companies will turn a blind eye to this just being a money laundering outfit. If they are "accepted" they will take over boxing
Unless Sheik Dan Kin Ehan of Dubai is executed by rivals or brought to justice one way or another by the enforcement agencies, his stable and promotions are only going to get better at the expense of the fading two in the UK.
Eddie maybe fading but not Frank. He's got good fights coming up and the one's that have gone to Probellum Frank probably unloaded them because they're unlikely to be champions and weren't big ticket sellers. The futures bright for Frank, there's Tyson, Dubois, Joyce, Parker, Yarde and some of the best prospects in the country.
There is no way Frank unloaded sunny or Catterall or maybe even Willams. I'm not sure where probeelum will go but I defo wouldn't sleep on them. This thing about how many people watching is a myth , boxers wants money so they are obviously handing out more attractive deals
Probellum are bordering on the best / biggest stable in British boxing already - without the lack of a “proper” platform. The only thing they’re missing is a superstar type. A Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua etc. someone who will fill arenas, stadiums and get people talking about them.
Said this in other threads, but the notion of multiple of these 'stables' under different platforms, living alongside the alphabet titles and various interim / intercontinental / regional championships, is fanciful. People complain when a club fighter ends up on TV to fill up a card as it is - why would we want things spread even more thinly?
