There is a reason that no other tv company was touching MTK/probellum. However once they are legitamised then other door will open
Eurosport is such a weird channel. It'll have big stuff like the Olympics and world snooker championships but everyone just watched the less in depth BBC coverage. With the BT deal eventually happening I'm sure it will grow but Eurosport has always been one of those added channels I get as part of the sports package filled with mostly stuff nobody or very few give a **** about.
Sheik Dan Kin Ehan from Dubai progressing his boxing ambitions and only a tap on the shoulder from the police will stop this progress in its tracks. Then we will have all the hypocrite boxers suddenly distancing themselves quicker than Abramovich from Chelsea FC.
It’ll have more viewers than Freesports, particularly if it’s broadcast Europe wide. It’s just great to have another avenue for boxing on Tv. I remember the frustrations of being a boxing fan and having so many fights, including massive , really massive, shows from the states , not being on British tv in the 90s and the 2000s. People think Sky showed everything. I was there, they didn’t . Now we have DAZN, Sky, BT, DAZN worldwide, Top Rank, Channel 5, Fightzone, IFL MTK and Eurosport. All we’re missing is PBC and even that’s accessible in the internet world. Yes, things are watered down but it’s a golden era for TV boxing.
It is approx. 14 days ago I heard that Probellum got a TV deal. I think one should be careful not to underestimate this agreement.
shame that it looks like Sunny Edwards, the Mccormacks and Mcgrail are gonna be fighting in obscurity
I love the channel. It's great for winter sports (like you said) and there's always a sport on there that is very watchable even though I don't follow it.
I wouldn't bother talking about the discovery/BT joint venture as it's still very early. It's gonna be a long time before we start seeing how things look in the future. They are probably nowhere near finalising how things will look.
