García is looking unsteady on his legs even just trading jabs with Hernández. Body shots by the Mexican, southpaw jabs lapping gently against the jawline of the Dominican on his way in. Hernández is popping García with left uppercuts after slipping the García right hand. García tries an uppercut of his own and Hernández pulls the rug out and stuffs it on his palms.

Hernández is winging his inner wrists against the sides of García's head, making concussive steady contact even in the clinch. García scores a 1-2 but Hernández responds with some cuffing right hooks and then a pair of paintbrush jabs on the chin. Hernández eats a couple of rights, then ducks and slips his way inside and scores a series of uppercut and chopping overhand lefts, and García totters down to a hand and knee. Half a minute left in the round as the action resumes. García battling in the center of the ring bravely, scoring a couple of right hands and then sending beads of sweat flying off Hernández's coiffure with big left hooks - attempting to even up the round with a knockdown of his own. Doesn't get it.
