I think it's really cool that both Hot Rod Kalajdzic and Angelo Leo used recent bouts on ProBox as a springboard to bigger fights. Kalajdzic lost a UD to David Morrell last week and Leo just won a world title at 126 by stopping Luis Alberto Lopez. ProBox seems to always put on competitive, entertaining cards and hopefully this will get ProBox even better fighters and better matchups.
They're been doing it right for years, best boxing broadcast, their Wednesday cards are more entertaining than some PPVs. What I don't understand is how they keep doing it. I see like 800 people on the YouTube livestream, that can't be paying the bills, can it? Is the goal to be picked up by a network? Or a streaming service? To begin doing PPVs through YouTube?
I've thought about that myself. I have no idea how they are doing it economically but I wouldn't be surprised if recent events give them a boost in that area as well.
