I was worried that's what we were seeing for a bit...but Cano's pretty reliable to make it to deep waters in a rumble. Question is, can Ochoa?

    Round 3

Ochoa has a decent start, matching shot for shot with Cano in the first minute as they step around but then a PEACH of a counter left hook by Cano rocks him to his core. A few more heavy shots by Cano but Ochoa is able to weather the storm again. Ochoa is starting to claw his way back into the round, repeatedly peppering the face of Cano with a 1-2 at mid-range. Cano fakes a jab up high, then comes in with pinball paddles on the body before the bell rings.

    10-9 Cano

    30-27 Cano

    Round 4

Ochoa is again starting off well, jabbing into the guard to hold Cano still. Big overhand right by Ochoa, but he falls into a clinch instead of following up. Cano slips jabs coming forward, letting them slide past either cheek, sometimes grazing. Cano rushes in and taps Ochoa with a left hook past a jab. Cano now hooks the body. Heavy, thumping, slowish quality to Cano's shots. Ochoa settles things down, screening out Cano with a jab and tossing limp right hands on the beltline from outside.

    10-9 Ochoa, close

    Round 5

Ochoa is starting to really work over the cut & swollen eyes of Cano with his jab and short flurries catching the veteran coming in. Cano getting bombed now as Ochoa gains confidence. Cano in a lull, badly in need of a second wind. Ochoa teeing off comfortably, landing at will outside. Wild left hook by Cano misses. Ochoa walks him down, flipping a backfist right hand into the body and then retracting and snapping a right into Cano's face.

    10-9 Ochoa

    48-47 Cano

If the whole second half of the fight is like the 5th, that's going to be depressing as hell. :shakehead:

Cano has zero quit… at least he used to - we’ll see.
