    Ortiz shouldn't have apologized ... he should've kept it up with the dirty tactics till he either got disqualified or knocked out ... either way Mayweather would've been in a war. I would've continued to punch until Cortez pulled me off ... and I would've hit Money May low when i got the chance to (in close quarters) anything goes when you in the ring and it's not like Mayweather is an angel ... this is a blood sport.

    Nonito and Wolak said it best I think...it was classless...it was unsportsman like but it was legal. Champions who are cut from the most a cloth with integrity wouldn't pull a "Floyd". Even if it was easy pickings.

    don't agree...Floyd was clearly pissed off, and rightfully so...How can u say that Floyd was thinking at the time? So ur telling me that someone headbutts and cuts u up, and ur gonna be like, 'o it's ok, we still cool'. HELL NO.

    Seems like they all agree Ortiz made a mistake and most of them agree it was classless by May, either way is pointless to keep arguing about who was right or wrong I personally feel we got robbed from what was becoming a very good entertaining fight.

    I don't think it ever was a "gentleman's" sport,at least not the way you're thinking. I mean Dempsey vs Sharkey, Duran vs Buchanan , and every fight Ricky Hatton was ever in. The fact that what he did was legal though makes it seem like a distraction tactic to me like th Ali shuffle or Ray Leonards spinning fist etc...
