Harris Frank is a better matchup than most of the fights featured on UK shows this year. Will be watching.
Not a big surprise to me. Dennis Hobson / Fight Academy has entered into an agreement with the BBC which means that several of their events this year will be streamed on BBCiplayer. Their first event on March 10th on the BBCiplayer (Hannah Rankin in the main event) featured an excellent undercard fight between Andy Owen and Michael Stephenson. By the way : I hope John Rawling will be back again tomorrow night.
It's actually a good little fight that I'm really looking forward to. It probably won't be particularly explosive, but if you appreciate good technical boxing - as I do - then it has the potential to be good. Also watching tomorrow night.
Out of interest - any gossip on why Rawling has disappeared from BT? Don't think I've heard him on there since Joyce vs Parker. I don't mind Darren Fletcher, but Rawling is a notch above imho.
Rawling definitely needs to come back - feels like BT are cost cutting shifting their football commentator onto the boxing as well. He was on ITV doing the darts in March so he's still about.
John said he is doing the Conlan fight in Belfast. Much better than Fletcher and I wonder if it is an issue with the Warren's is the reason he isn't being utilised as much by BT at the minute.
