Hopefully Taylor and Prograis fight again. That was a great fight. It could have gone either way. I thought it was a draw. Also, Prograis wasn't bitter about the decision. We see this so often in boxing. How many times do we see a fighter lose a close fight and all they do is complain and whine about it non stop?
Regis Progais absolutely deserves a rematch. The fight was razor close. I had Regis winning by 1 round. However the decision was a Taylor win which is okay to be honest. A draw would also have been a fair decision. I would be happy to see Josh Taylor fight Jose Ramirez next. Win or lose, a rematch with Progais is very much warranted and wanted by the fans. This time Josh would do well to return the favor and take the fight in the USA.
Yeah I agree too though if Ramirez is available I'd prefer that with prograis maybe fighting a guy like hooker to line up a fight
imo he lost clearly but his stock didnt really go down at all. JT is the real deal and prograis gave him a hell of a fight.
Both Taylor and Prograis made a fan out of me that night. These are the kind of fighters that boxing needs more of.
