I lost a lot of respect for the WBSS after the Breidis vs Glowacki fight.

    What are they to do?
They can't overrule the official decision.

Yeah, they could have ordered a rematch, but they also have obligations to Dorticos. Not to mention the fact that everyone was supposed to fight 3 times max.
Reformatting the tournament for a rematch would likely have been a massive cluster****. They are already struggling with pay and fight dates.

For starters, don’t choose Robert and Adalyde Byrd to referee and judge the same fight.

Yes, WBSS was the one who hired and appointed them, not the WBO.
Btw, the WBC actually pulled their belt because they were not happy with the officials or something in regards to the officials.

Eh, ordering the winner to fight Glowacki is the best option in a bad situation.

Glowacki gets more time to rest. The fans get Dorticos-Briedis. And the winner of that fight makes for a bigger fight vs Glowacki anyways.

An immediate rematch wrecks all of that and, frankly, Glowacki shouldn't have gotten back in the ring with Briedis immediately afterward anyways.

I don't I'm afraid, hopefully if Quackarou does refuse to come out of the chicken coop and take his beating like a man the WBA will do the right thing and strip him of his belt.

 While the WBSS will likely not be part of it, the WBO has ordered a rematch. So everything should work itself out in the end.
I think there is more to it. If they had the money, they would have likely paid him and there would have been no issues.
There seems to be a lot of managerial ****s ups.

Seems like it all works out again. I really start to doubt we get a 2rd installment of this great tourney though.
