Prograis vs Taylor - Ring Belt - will look like Gamboa vs Crawford

If Prograis is Gamboa, I see Taylor as his Rogers Mtagwa.

 

Thanks for clarifying. Taylor has looked good in the WBSS. However, I think his defense is too porous for a punishing hitter like Prograis. Plus I think Regis has actually been holding a lot back in his fights, if that makes sense. Unless his chin proves to be an Achilles heel, or his body outgrows the division, I have yet to see a fighter from 140 or below who I believe can beat him.

 

I think his chin is still up for debate (prograis that is) It was a moment in his fight with Relikh where Prograis took one just after the bell and im pretty sure he was a bit wobbly going back to his corner. On the other hand a shot like that when you don't expect it can have more of an effect than a shot landed mid round. I'll need to go back and watch it again to clarify but im pretty sure it did wobble him. He was fully recovered for the next round though.

 

Just rewatched it he wasn't as wobbled as I first thought.

 

I agree, prograis looks like he has other gears that he’s not used yet.

Unless Taylor comes in with a very very good game plan I think he’ll get stopped late

This is a great fight that's guaranteed to be all action!.the bookies have the wrong favourite imo

 

Great fight, and the winner has a case for the back end of the P4P rankings. I like both fighters so this is a little bittersweet, but I've been rolling with Rougarou too long to change now.

I'm the same but for Taylor.Really don't know who wins in all honesty. but I'm confident taylor won't get stopped so it should go the distance.

Gamboa boxed well for 4 rounds and then got taken apart.
If he had been bigger, then maybe he would have made it to the finish line. But he made a lot of mistakes that night and Crawford got the better of him.
