Usually, ESPN2 FNF is on before ShoBox - @ 9pm & 11pm EST respectively with no overlap.

Today, however, they are both on at abnormal times and have both switched order and scheduled to overlap.

Showtime is at 10pm EST. (Ryan Coyne vs. Marcus Oliveira & Angelo Santana vs. Bahodir Mamadjanov)

ESPN2 is at 11pm EST. (Farah Ennis vs. Francisco Sierra & Rico Ramos vs. Oscar Gonzalez)

Plan your evenings accordingly, mon frères. :cheers

Scratch that. Ennis vs. Sierra is CANCELED.

Why? Sierra came in 18.5 lbs overweight, per Fat Dan. (who is more than 18.5 lbs overweight, in fairness to Sierra...)

He came in at 186.5 - within a bowling pin (yeah, they're three point five pounds...I don't know why I know useless trivia like that...) of the Cruiserweight limit...for a contracted super middleweight bout!!!! :patsch

Maybe he's dyslectic and just read it wrong in the contract... onehundredsixtyeight pounds/onehundredeightysix pounds. I can see why it might be confusing :conf
Coming in ½ a pound over isn't that bad usually....

Coyne-Oliveira isn't televised, instead Showtime is showing Amir Imam vs. Jeremy Bryan.

The boxing gods giveth, and they taketh away... :-(

We had two nifty co-features to look forward to (Ennis vs. Sierra and Coyne vs. Oliveira) and now we don't get to see either, for different reasons.

The silver lining: the most attractive two bouts (Santana vs. Mamadjanov headlining ShoBox and Ramos vs. Gonzalez headlining FNF) will be staggered so as not to overlap. We can watch Santana vs. Mamadjanov in lose of whatever lame opening bout ESPN2 decided to air.
