Mosley and Clottey will maintain their titles. I expect Clottey to take on an Issac Hlastwayo type fighter and beat him badly. Cotto will NOT face Mosley by the end of 09, He'll beat up on Kermit Cintron and then Arum will chuck him head first into a battle with Pac at the end of 09.

Berto will face Collazo in a rematch and win another close decision. Collazo is making a career out of coming up short against top comp.

Mosley will take on Carlos Baldomir and then Berto will face Mosley and Mosley will knock him out. Mosley will then go on to face Ricky Hatton, who doesn't learn from the FMJ debacle that he can't move around in weight.

 

Cotto fights Clottey. (Clottey wins.)
Shane fights Pac. (Shane wins.)
Shane fight Clottey. (Clottey wins.)

PW fights Clottey at 154. (All bets are off on this one.)

Theres alot of potential match ups. It is a must for Mosley, Cotto, Clottey, and Berto to some how get in the ring with each other by the end of this year.

 

Mosley will just walk Pacquiao down and stop him. I'll be betting heavily if that one comes off. I don't see any scenario where Pacquiao can beat the Mosley that faced Margarito. Pacquiao will be outgunned, outsized, outchinned, and facing a guy who has a great chin and whom he cannot outspeed.

I just have very little faith in Cotto's ability to do anything with him. He can't manhadnle him, and he can't penetrate his defense enough or break him down with body shots. I think he gets caught by Clottey.

 

Throwing Berto in with Mosley would be dangerous.... Berto is up and coming and needs to be given time. He's currently being over-hyped and the bubble burst when he was shot down when he fought Collazo. Give him time to get to the top level.

I think the problem with boxing for American fans at the moment is that American fighters are being eclipsed by their foreign counterparts as legends retire there has been no one to fill their shoes (Hopkins, RJJ, Mayweather, etc), and this has led to fighters such as Berto, Dawson and Pavlik being hyped up to the extreme.

Im not talking about a 'Euro' I said foreign, now there is a difference between the two you know. Berto is young and could well be an elite fighter of the future, but throwing him in against Mosley at this stage could be dangerous.

And no, Hatton has no chance of cutting it at WW.
