I agree with that, Lee should take less but the fight should be held in Ireland.

Why do you just believe one person? He's not exactly in an objective position. If you met Andy Lee and he said he had offered Proksa a fight would you believe that?

 

Do u rate Lee over Marklin? TBH i really don't rate Lee all that much, he hasn't impressed me especially since the Vera loss

 

I couldnt care less if proksa was offered the fight with andy or not as i truly believe proksa to be a level or two below barker and lee and a win against him would do nothing for lees career.
Proksa is a tiny light middle ffs not a chance with either.

Barker will take the easy option with the less money i expect........

 

Who will honestly care if they beat Sylvester...I mean so what, that wouldn't impress me. Sylvester is a bit crap and everybody knows it. It wouldn't be a surprise if any of them beat him. It doesn't make any of them top class as far as I'm concerned, to do that they need to beat real fighters like Williams/Martinez or Pavlik if he sticks around. All the prospects coming up in this division are better than Sylvester, they probably just won't get the chance to prove it while he's holding his alphabet hostage against crappy opponents.

 

thats a valid point but if one of lee macklin barker or duddy were able to pick up a strap it would be good for seeing a few good matches and breathe a bit of life into the division especially if martinez vacates because then zbik (?) will be wbc champ the wbo who knows which would arguably result in the weakest list of champs in the sport



this division is there for the taking at the moment while the likes of korobov mature a bit more. none bring that much money to the table so id say unifications wouldnt be all that hard to put together and the chance for someone to be a proper champ

 

When a fighter declines a challenge they rarely brag about it and the guy who said Proska turned down a fight with Lee is also in the know so I guess it's who you believe isn't it.
