I take that back..looks like Lapin flew out with him. In an interview on the 25th he was asked who his trainer will be...."i will find one".
No Lapin is Polish. Laszlo Veras is Hungarian and was his trainer in his early fights and IMO was better suited for him than Lapin and Gmitruk who both also trained him and are regarded as the 2 best in Poland. He also had some Briitsh trainer in his corner for a few fights including the first Hope fight. Proksa even trained himself for a couple of fights. He should be further along IMO but the combo of not having a steady trainer, going through several promoters and injuries slowed his career.
Hey, thanks for the low down. Lets just hope Super G had a good (short) camp & that his head is in the right place. Did you see the video of the presser with Proksa saying a few words? Forget where I saw it. He speaks decent english & said he's very excited about this opportunity. Didn't even watch it to the end where the most likely faced off. Here the vid. 32 min long & GP speaks near the end. http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/golovkin-proksadzinziruk-gonzalez-presser-132370

Surely he does? After listening to his interview post Hope 2, I doubt he'd make the mistake of doing something like this.
Damn. I like Proska, but that hands down style is asking for trouble against Golovkin. Should be a fun fight while it lasts though.
