Hey, you gotta' root for the underdog!

I still like Proksa, I think he's a lot better than many folks now give him credit for. GGG is certainly the better fighter, but Proksa should have given him more trouble.

Proksa fought a stupid fight. IMO, He fought Golovkin's fight. He wasn't listening to his corner at all. Had he thrown more stinging jabs and then turned his body, he could have scored a lot more. Who knows, he might have even confused Golovkin and pulled a Lopez.

I think Proksa will still do very well, if he can still get big fights.

Yet your all aboard the ginger mexican express

Honestly I see plenty of people beating GGG

Ward could smother his work and clinch on the inside sabotaging anything he can do
Froch could outgun him and take advantage of his defence
Kessler could pick him apart with the jab and right hands
Martinez would dart in and out and land big left hands

But thats it, an honestly hed have a good chance of beating them two if he shows something special in his next few fights

I would favour some other fighters based on a faster fighter being able to come on the inside but honestly seeing how he dealt with Dirrel's speed in the am's combined with his punching power which is so blatantly obvious Stevie wonder can see it I dont think Dirrell would stand much of a chance either over 12 rounds, and as for Kid chocolate Id see him getting busted up along the way, anyone at 154 wouldnt stand a chance, and if anyone says Chavez, Golovkin has had to fight larger fighters in sparring to match his power so his big size advantage goes out the window and it becomes like a western shootout with whosever chin holds up which in my opinion would be GGG as im not riding chavez's dick because he beat Andy ****ing Lee (And was getting outboxed early on)

I might be overestimating him a little but honestly its the level in which I can actively measure Golovkin, seeing how not much has changed from Dirrells style from Am to Pro and Golovkin's power showing also I see him becoming a real force at 160 and is in no way a Bum

Bum was a bit harsh... I actually like GGG as his stalking power punching style reminds me of canelos style. I think he can give anyone from 154 to 160 a good fight. But this crazy favoring him over all at 168 for one performance over proska is hilarious and needs to stop. Let him come into his own and then the train won't crash so hard if he gets froch'd like bute.

Also rating him high because of amateur bouts is hilarious bute and direll lol
You know who else beat direll in the amateurs? Mike Alvarado the Jr ww who is fighting Rios next sothoae amateur wins are stupid to rate high over.

I'm sick of people calling Proska a bum. What was Golovkin's claim to fame before he fought Sturm? To give him a championship belt? Winning a close decision over Sebastion Sylvestor. Well Proska stopped him inside 3 rounds.

I like your list but what do you base this on? What is Golovkin supposed to have done that equals or even bests wins over Sturm, Sylvester, Adama and Karmazin?

I see your point Mate,Geale went 12 rounds with Sylvester in a close one,and Proska TKOd Sylvester in 3,then Proska gets destroyed by Golovkin and lasts 5 rounds.!!! Think both Proska and Golovkin are under rated by some Fans.!!!!

I see where you are coming from, but would you seriously consider taking Gaele over Golovkin? Depends if you want to do a list based on accomplishments or head2head power. Golovkin is all wrong for Gaele, a stylistic nightmare and I feel like he sees it as well, just as Sturm did.
Golovkin might be one of those fighters of who we will never know how good they truely are since nobody will step up to fight them until they showing signs of age.

I see GOlovkin-Martinez as 50-50, as GGG is also a little too easy to be hit, but I don't see anybody else at 160 beating him.

Honestly the list was more to do with the overall quality rather than achievements. Proksa was probably the best name on Golovkins record so far (beats Geales win over Sylvester, Proksa stopped Sylvester in 3) but i didnt put much thought into the list, was more of a quick list of who the better fighter is off first glance in all honesty, was just proving a point that just because there are not many American/Mexican fighters in the top end of the pool doesnt mean that the division is in any means weak, 154-160-168 are the most competetive divisions in boxing right now.

Honestly if Geale fought Golovkin who do you think would win? Geale's not a bigger puncher than Proksa so I doubt his power would bother Golovkin and if hes getting hit by Sturm then imagine what Golovkin would do?

Sturm avoided Golovkin and because he was a big money name in Germany the WBA elevated him to super champ (which normally is only done if you unify the regular belt with another) but sadly this wasnt the case and was purely just a way to bypass the system.

Now before the fight they said the winner would have to fight the winner of Golovkin-Proksa mostly because if Sturm won he would vacate the belt and fight Abraham at 168 anyways and if Geale won then he wouldnt draw in as much cash and is likely to vacate the belt to fight Sam Soliman in Austrailia which seems to be the usual kind of Austrialian boxing tactic where they go back home with the belt and defend it against other Austrailians.

I like Geale personally but I dont think he would beat Golovkin

despite the loss, you gotta give credit for proksa's heart and will to fight. unfortunately GGG was just on a whole other level in comparison....he had nothing to be ashamed about the defeat at all....
