Promoter and Matchmaker get arrested for grand theft and fraud. RJJ gets mixed up and is suspended from the state of Florida. Jones opponent steps out last minute so they replaced him with Derwin Richardson. Richardson then gets knocked out but it turns out that was not Richardson . It was a 19 year old kid with a 0-2 record by the name of Anthony Waddles. The Matchmaker sent the wrong guy. lol! Does anyone remember this?
Jones at the time had a 19-0 record I believe so it was before he signed with HBO. A lot of Jones fights/matchmaking were highly questionable leading up to his signing with HBO.
I just looked it up. I do not remember the opponent who was switched for someone else. The incident with the promoter who disliked Roy was a different story.
