For being disloyal & shopping around for title challenger, instead of going ahead with what was initially agreed.

Promoters & Haumono's management are in process releasing a presser, detailing sequence of events.

Well, "initially", was it not supposed to be Price?

If you are calling out and going after Price, you probably aren't ducking Haumono. :conf Let's not pretend Haumono is much scarier or operating on a different level.

HATTON PROMOTIONS would like to clarify reports that unbeaten heavyweight Lucas “Big Daddy” Browne has pulled out of a proposed fight with former Rugby League star Solomon Haumono.

While negotiations with Haumono’s team have taken place, the fight was never finalised.

Hatton Promotions’ Australian representatives have been informed by Main Event Pay Per View that the bout could be given PPV status in the near future, but a suggested date of April 3 isn’t suitable as the network’s schedule is already fully booked.

As such, we feel that a Browne v Haumono fight should take place at a time which is more financially beneficial to all parties concerned.

However, it must be stressed that Haumono is just one of the options available to Browne at this time.

Following his stunning fifth round stoppage of England’s Richard Towers in November, Lucas is the only boxer guaranteed a shot at the Commonwealth title vacated by David Price.

It is Lucas’ intention to become the first Australian heavyweight to win the Commonwealth belt in almost a century and a number of big name boxers remain on his wish list, including Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora.

Not saying haumono is better then what he is, but if you stand there and are willing to trade hes got the power to spark lucas, he struggles with boxers that are defensive and dont trade

He has done more than Haumono in half the time.

How many times has Haumono fought in the last two years?

How many times has Haumono fought outside of Australia?

If anything the word is that Haumono actually showing up rather than pissing everyone about is an issue.

    wtf has going o'seas matter?

I don't care whether u fight in Nepal, Canada or Antarctica, when u r fighting the hastings rasani's and paul butlin's it don't mean ****.

beating a 73yo who is a movie double for blimps in his spare time u have nothing to brag about.

haumono has not achieved anything spectacular, but don't pretend lucas has either.

don't bother trying to put blame back on haumono, cause nobody is buying it.

lucas is ducking. plain and simple.

Dominating Richard Towers in England is far more impressive than anything Haumono has ever done. You really are a goose of the highest calibre, get a clue buddy
