    great article
    this part nails it
"Just as the Pavlik-Taylor I fight poster perfectly embodied the hype and anticipation for that matchup, so too does that Bradley-Alexander poster speak to the laziness and general ineffectiveness of the promoters in stoking interest in this fight. Poor poster, poor planning, poor promotion – it’s a shame that such a shoddy effort is compromising the exposure of such a wonderful fight. "

It's not King. The days of his promoting is over.Shaw is a fat piece of **** who wouldn't know how to promote without a tv paycheque supporting him.

    Good article. Thanks for posting.

I particularly agree with the following:

In addition to this, I really think HBO should have grabbed the opinions of Bradley and Alexander - two guys sitting ringside, who will be the likely opponents next for Khan and Maidana.

HBO should now wake up and fire their incompetent employees handling the boxing fights.

Exactly. Little things like that enhance the viewer's experience of the fight before them. Having a notable personality in the audience just pop on the microphone to offer their thoughts on what they're seeing, can go a long way.

Yep. At least they've secured Roy's signature. That's a start.

Shamefuklly shoddy promotion and exposure for such a big fight as this is.

You can not become a big name fighter under Gary Shaw. After Bradley destroys Alexander i hope to god he ditches Shaw

Without Gary Shaw Tim Bradley would be a much bigger name

The morons of ESB again speaking about things they know nothing about. The fight isn't big nationally because neither are mainstream. Almost no one in boxing is mainstream. The fight isn't big locally in Detroit because neither are from their and have no fan base their.

The fight could have been popular in St Louis but Bradley's people didn't want to fight their. And if they fought in Palm Springs it wouldn't be big their because Bradley doesn't have a fan base.

None of this is Shaw's, KIng's or HBO's fault. Fighters like Bradley and Alexander need these type of fights to spring them into fights with mainstream fighters. And even if they beat the mainstream fighter more than likely their status will not change.

SHUT UP ALREADY AND JUST WATCH THE FIGHT AND STOP TALKING ABOUT THINGS YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
