I always laughed when people said Froch punched/punches harder than Joe.
Records speek for themselves. Joe was up on KO's per same # of fights.
Hopkins should have won an Oscar from his performance to save himself for the TKO.
Didnt Jones say he believed even in his prime. JC might have won?

 

No, he said it would have been a hard fight but never said he would have lost. Jones was as meek as lamb as far back as Tarver III. Calzaghe fought an old shop worn pug and that is obvious to anyone other than a Calzaghe fan boy.

Take a look at Jones Post 2003

vs. Tarver II - One punch knockout of Jones in the 2nd
vs. Johnson - KO in 9 with Jones OUT for MINUTES
vs. Tarver III - Jones won't fire and is almost KO'd by half a right hook
vs. Baju - Who the **** is Baju and why is he going the distance?
vs. Hanshaw - See Baju
vs. Trinidad - Former welterweight against Former Heavyweight goes 12?

Now - look at the statistics here and compare them to Calzaghe's over the same time frame, then try and convince yourself that this fight should even have been made! It was a money spinner but in terms of legacy or establishing the better man it was useless and on a par with Lewis vs. Tyson. One man (Calzaghe or Lewis) is still world class and the other (Jones or Tyson) is fighting for money.

I can't write this up any clearer.

Jones, in his prime, is a better fighter but that is just my opinion.
