Everything considered I'm a big fan of Whitaker overall, for achievement and there aren't too many if any at 135 I favour over him in history anyway.

Having said that I do hate the over-rated Welsh ****, so I probably deserve the label.

Said it before and I'll say it again, Joe would have NEVER signed to fight Jones if he was even 10% of what he once was because even 10% of prime Jones would take him out. The reason why this fight is on is because Jones is BEYOND shot and won't be offering much.

Jones offered Calzaghe a fight, then Calzaghed developed an injury and Jones had to wait, Jones tried to negotiate a fight yet again and Calzaghe demands that Jones(The undisputed ****ing champion) fly all the way to Wales.

Does it shock you that Calzaghe is only flying to America recently?, well it doesn't shock me because the serious opponents are now old and beyond shot, that's why he's "finally" making a move he said he never will.

Calslappy was actually talking about fighting in America around 2001. He was shown on Sky over here wandering the streets of New York, talking **** about taking on the big name fighters, unifying 168 and moving up to 175 to fight Jones.

Calzaghe said unproven and untested (the same he says about current Pavlik) just like RJJ said about Hopkins when they met. Still fighters know the class of fighters they meet.

At some point in time Ali and SRR were unproven and untested - but that doesn't say anything about their skill.
