The point is that you said there was proof that Froch ducked Calzaghe but that text is not a proof. Even if FW really did offer a fight to Froch, we don't know for sure, the only thing going for this story is that FW might have had no incentive to lie since he was no longer doing business with JC. But, even if it's true he offered Froch a fight, we don't even know on what terms. Maybe it's true, but maybe the terms were ridiculous, like 25,000£ and options on the next 5 fights, That is ALL SPECULATION, NOT FACT. Thus, this link you posted proves nothing.

I remember at the time ****** saying that it was a career high pay-day for Froch. For somebody who had talked as much as Froch had he should have accepted the contract and when has FW been known to put conditions on future fights?
The only option I could have seen him putting in would have been a rematch clause if by some freak method Froch won. Isn't it the norm for champions to have rematch clauses anyway for voluntary defences?

Called for the fight was offered a career high purse for it at the time, turned it down because there was a rematch clause when he had no leverage at the time.

well who do we believe, a serial duck artist or a guy who fights back to back bests?

I don't know, who do you trust to operate on you, a surgeon or Frank Wassen.

to my knowledge Joe did offer a very young froch a fight, as his habit was to find regional weaklings unqualified to fight for world titles for which to defend his world title against but as soon aas forch was above regional he shook his head and laughed ' you aren't good enough'. As Joe does so well.

Calzaghe claimed Froch is a nobody and went on to fight Mafredo Jr.

No Froch continuously called him out when he had only had about 11 fights, after Calzaghe beat Lacy they offered the fight to Froch before Bika, when Froch was about 21-0, Froch turned the fight down.

    Simple as that.

Funny because it's an old article from the time Hennessy was promoting Froch and the issue Hennessy had an issue with was the remacth clause. Remember this is when Froch was a nobody as well. It is nothing like the Cleverly situation.

So Froch was scared of Cleverly but had no problems whatsoever making into the supersix tournament which involved fighters like Dirrell, Kessler, Ward, Johnson, Abraham, Taylor and Green?. You're one ******ed trolling piece of first class ****.

There is clip on youtube where Joe says Carl was offered a fight but didn't think he was ready so he didn't take it. Can't find it though.

One of them calls themselves an international superstar and the best British SMW of all time.

The other refuses to place himself in history prefering the fans to do it for him.

I know who i believe. Carl has nightmares with people who are quick, can move and box. Joe would have seriously beaten him up.
