Probably because Haye still used it to some extent for the remaining 9 or 10 rounds.

He said it hurt to even block with that hand so that can't have helped the swelling.

Maybe Haye should have to cut the skin back so the doubters on here can see the bones.

My brother broke his metacarpal in a fight, frequently known as a boxer's fracture, and he said it was painful as hell. Yet he didn't need massive bandages like people on here are implying.

I've broken the 5th metacarpal before. I never had it plastered.

Thanks for posting the vid. Haye looks like he's totally overwhelmed by the win, it's obvious how hugely important it was to him. Great stuff.

Ask your brother if he could lift the belt like Haye did in the video or sign autographs.

Everybody seems to feel that Haye didnt really sprain his back but read what he told the UK public.

David Haye: "It took me twenty minutes to get into the car. How can you fight when you can't train, spar, run or even walk ? I've fought before when I've been at 80 per cent. Last week I was around 5 per cent. I wasn't in a state to fight a female amateur middleweight, let alone the world heavyweight champion. It would have been irresponsible of me to go through with it."
"I was shadow boxing and my back

I am just distraught about it."

Team Haye seems to also claimed a hand injury befor the Klitchko fight

    David Haye: “I definitely felt

in my right hand,” said Haye afterwards. “But I got the feeling back and if I had had a couple more rounds, I’d have knocked him out of there.”

Got his feeling back? Ive also had my hands messed up for months after a boxing match but I didnt feel a thing while I was in the ring

Ive even read someone accuse the tv cameras of cutting away so that we couldnt see Valuevs punches land.
    Can you believe that?

It wasn't anything serious imo and he would have still fought the exact same way. He fought the first 2 rounds the exact same way he fought after he hurt his hand.

This will shut up the idiots and haters. I think Haye could've had a chance at a KO or at least a knockdown had he had 2 good hands. That seems fair.

LoL on the 'new normal sized belt.'

Which boxing match was that in and did your opponent outweigh you by 7 stone? Were you fighting for the Heavyweight title?

No I was just giving my examples of hurt hands like Strike and LiamE did

I do have a heavyweight title though from South Africa but it would be considered cruiser in the states. In the case were I hurt my hands my opponent outweighed me by at least 30 pounds and he was about 6.5" tall. I myself am 6.2" 177 lbs but fought heavyweight as I often do. Oh and get this, There were about 30 fights that night and each were 3 rounders. My fight was the last one and after the third round the commissioner (Chorrera, Panama) shouted one more round-which is illegal in amateur competition. Oh and I got robbed even though I clearly won every round and which caused a real uproar against the commissioner

This stuff happens to me and others all the time and so I like to expose cheaters, liars and persecutors

I like to give people a taste of their own medicine. You ever notice how Haye only refers the likes of Maccarenelli, Klitchkos and Valuev as clumsy, stinky, dirty, boring, cowardly, etc..... I dont recall him saying the same about Barret or Mormeck.
