Proof Mayweather ducked Amir Khan

Khan had speed, but he was SUPER lazy with his punches bringing them back like he was admiring his shots. He never ever got better at it. Floyd would win 7 rounds easily. Would Amir even be in the top 10 hardest punchers Floyd faced? Is Khan gonna outbox him?? Pauli is literally the only skilled fighter Amir ever beat.

Agreed but I am not saying Floyd wouldn't have won the fight but no way he just knocks Khan out. If Maidana couldn't stop Khan I don't see Floyd stopping him. It's not like Floyd timed one hitter quitters like Danny Garcia either. Khan is not going down from a pull counter right hand.

One guy says he would KTFO Amir Khan, another guy says he would have put Iran Barkley in a hospital in another thread (may be if he was handed a baseball bat to overcome his fear to step in the ring with a guy like Barkley). I wonder if Floyd's fans ever actually watched his fights at the higher weight classes? The guy couldn't crack an egg & put on some of the worst big fight snore fests where he would pot shot his way to UD wins even when the opponent was totally outclassed

Amir lacks the discipline and fortitude to beat a boxer of the level of Floyd. Floyd's kryptonite would be a boxer that can turn the fight into a brawl and who stays close to Floyd thorough the boxing match. Floyd has brittle hands and therefore, the damage that he can inflict is limited. Space and distance always work in Floyd's advantage giving him the opportunity to counter or get on his bicycle. Khan would need to get into a brawl with Floyd and hopefully, develop a granite chin for the fight in order to beat Floyd.

It's easy to say Floyd would have won but he should proved that in the ring at the time. I also think Floyd would have beat Khan with ease but no one knows for a fact what would have happened.

I’m no khan fan but Khan v Mayweather would have been a great fight but Mayweather 100% did avoid him,even ignoring his own poll to fight Maidana,as for what would have been the outcome who knows as the fight never happened. For those saying that Mayweather would knock Khan out let’s just remember that when Khan fought Maidana the Argentinian had only one loss on his record with 27 stoppages in 30 fights iirc and he could not put Khan over . Khan lost one fight on points in his career and that was to Peterson in controversial fashion.
