Alot of fighters can make others look like **** if all they do is try to survive, get out of the way of shots, and make little attempts to throw anything back. Dirrell vs Froch comes to mind, in a different sort of way.

We're aware of what McCloskey's style is, but there was absolutely NOTHING there to suggest thing were gonna get better for him. Despite what he and other deluded fans were thinking, Khan wasn't getting tired lol. Instead, he slowly finding his mark as the fight wore on. Simply put, Khan was getting stronger, whilst McCloskey wasn't doing anything

    Deluded fans??

Nobody is saying he would of knocked out Khan guaranteed. Our point is that this was obviously going to be his gameplan and he wasn't even given the chance in a WORLD TITLE FIGHT. The ref and doctor are ****ing disgraceful in my opinion I mean, when at any stage did McCloskey look in anyway hurt against the so called 'King Khan'??

Yeah it was McCLoskey and Breens gameplan to loose each and every round and use a rope a dope and wait for KHan to burn himself out. :rofl

McCLoskey only landed 1 punch the whole fight, He wasnt pressing any action whatsoever and he was down in round 4, not only that he was staggered a couple of times.

I don't think McCloskey pulled out personally, he should made a case to the doctor to stay on for a round or two.

It doesn't mtter what you just said cos the fact is he never got the chance. You cant see into the future, who knows what would of happened. Fight was stopped prematurely, Khan looked average, McCloskey did what was expected of the underdog, the fans were robbed, McCloskey was robbed of an opportunity, the ref was a disgrace, boxing looks ridiculous again. Cant really say anymore.....

to say there is even a chance of a KO is delusional.

nobody has said the ref made the right call. but i am glad he did it because i didnt wanna watch another 6 rounds of that ****.

theres a way to beat Amir Khan but its not using a **** reaction based defence to try and tire him out and counter punch him with a slow winging hook in the later rounds.

McCloskey reminds me of the kids you see at amatuer shows that have watch to much Naz on youtube.

If McCloskey has been remotely competitive in the first 6 rounds the ref wouldn't have stopped it.

you don't see 50-50 fights getting stopped on cuts at world level.

by the way i don't think McCloskey quit but theres absolutely 100% no chance he would of won that fight.

i don't think he deserved another 6 rounds with Amir Khan after the performance he put in.

The ******edness of this sentence alone can some up the mentality of some posters on this site.

A balanced, reasonable post. Never thought I'd see the day. Who are you and which planet are you from?

There is 100% chance that you canot make that fight, especiallly not with a fighter like Khan.

Anyway, I'm not arguing anymore, its getting ridiculous.

Your trying to defend your fellow countryman, but your wrong in everything you say because your blinded by nationalism not reality.
