and breen and mccloskey didn't come across as total tosser's aswell? how are you meant to look good against an awkward fighter in mccloskey that came to survive
read pages 1 and 5, I don't think it's pauls fault at all!, it's the reff and the doctors job to make the decision on it. He knew he was bleeding but everyone in the areana had a better view of it than him!!, it's not like he could see the actuall cut, all he had to go on is the blood running down, he's not to know how bad it is, but you can understand him thinking it was. The part I think is odd is the fact that nobody suggested his corner take a look at cleaning it up. I didn't like amir in the interview after, first time i've thought of him as disrespectful, seemed annoyed to me. I think mainly because he didn't put on the show he thought he would.
I don't think he came to survive at all, the plan was clearly to step it up after the 8th or so, may not have worked, who knows. I think paul did well after the fight, it was understandable he was annoyed. Khan on the other hand got the win and had no need to come across such a arse.
McCloskey did not quit,Khan is being very disrespectful imo.The ending was very unsatisfactory and the ref and doctor need to be looked at because the didn't give the cut a chance to improve. The likelyhood is that Khan would of got a landslide ud win but McCloskey could of landed a stunner, but we will never know that is the annoying thing.
He could have asked the doctor to let him finish the round and let his corner take care of the cut at end of the round as there was only a few seconds left in it. But instead he showed no desire to continue and agreed with doctor's stoppage. Hearns should have been mad at his fighter not the referee.
Nobody can prove Khan was tired or was exhausted, as he said in the post fight interview he is a conditioned fighter, going 12 rounds with this euro level bum is no problem stamina wise. He has sparring thats tougher than his fight last night. Mcloskey has a very high opinion of himself and his abilities, he put on a **** performance and was a disgrace to all those fans who travelled to see him, he barely threw ****ing anything He didn't even protest about the decision by the ref, not a word to the doctor I'm ok, he was shellshocked from the speed of Khan and was glad it was over Take your loss as a man and stop making ****ing excuses
Apologies. I was just hugely disappointed with Dudeys performance last night and can't for the life of me see how anyone could have been impressed by such a negative performance. There were people on here last night who genuinely bought into the 'Khan was tired' schtick, which was total shite. I don't believe he quit though and agree that it was a poor stoppage, however Dudey didn't do a single thing offensively to lead anyone to believe he was coming out of that shell.
I even heard the bitter **** say Khan should of get disqualified for the clash of heads like it was his fault, the disgraceful ****ing clown
And nobody can prove that McCloskey wouldn't have sparked him. What can be proven is that this was a bull**** stoppage that robbed us all of the opportunity to find out.
Exactly but throwing Khans name in the gutter like that, like Mcloskey was going to somehow knock him out based on his laughable performance is a joke. You say he could of had a chance, you don't go onto chat **** about your opponent being tired or about him not being world class when he dominated you And the post fight presser which that **** Hearn has had removed shows the zero class they have
