Boxing aint dead its just people who want these fights to happen so fast that they lose patient and think just because they can match the fighters on paper that it should be made tom its takes alot of time for fights to be made cause there alot money involve this aint MMA where they dont make crap understand something Rome wasn't built in a day and God created the world 6 days not 1 every fighter you name i guarantee will end up fighting each other soon r later as long as they are around this I promise boxing may not be bigger then MMA right now but its def better. MMA is like that new girl hot girl in school once every guy or girl has had her everyone lose intrests

I don't know why Sturm ever even gets ranked any more as he never fights the top middleweights.

Oh fer crissakes. I've been following boxing for 35 years, and people have been whining that it's "dying" for most of that time.

Ali retired. All the whiners said "boxing is dead"

Then, Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns and Marvin Hagler took center stage and everybody was into boxing again.

People still whined how "shitty" the HWs were. Just like they do today. Then Tyson came along.

Tyson retired, then everybody started whining about how shitty the HWs were again.

This **** goes on and on. And, based on boxing mags I've read, it was going on long before even I got into the sport.

And it's all a crock of bull****. Boxing will outlive us ALL.

Wait...boxing is dead because the #1 guy at 140 won't fight a guy who just lost?...

I think your overstating things. But boxing obviously has its problems.
Boxing is sickly but won't die in our lifetime.
