Erm there are several names on that list of "excellent talents" that he didnt fight so seems a most odd argument.

That said I think he is top 30 ATG and he's one of the best defensive fighters ever.

Everyone of those guys he would have been the favorite over with the lone possible exception Winky Wright and had he fought a few of them and not fought who he fought you simply would have put their names in this list and complained that he didnt fight them.

big fights get made in vegas because of the casinos. that's where the real $$$ is made on fight weekend.

floyd didn't become a PPV star until oscar, which is why he had plenty of fights outside of vegas pre-WW.
strangely enough, he still won all of his fights, no matter where they were held.
