Yeah he dropped the 175 champion Kovalev, but he couldn't hurt the ex 154 fighter for 24 rounds.

it is already a known fact that he can knock out CWs and HWs in training, this is nothing new. No wonder Wilder avoids using him as a sparring partner.

His issue is smaller fighters from 1 or 2 divisions down who are more mobile and tougher, they can beat him and he needs to work on that weakness.

I don't know wtf you have his name as your profile name for..Canelo is a sturdy as any man in Boxing right now, a stump beefed up and skilful, never hit the deck never wobbled..As a fan, im quite happy with his performances against Canelo at this stage of his career, I mean he won both fights, hurt ginge on occasions and if it wasn't for bent judging this wouldn't be a conversation, he would of got the w first time and moved on

I’ve always wondered from a fantasy point of view how far down the heavy weight rankings would you need to go for Golovkin to pick up a victory?

    What’s everyone’s guess?

    GGG is a genetic freak.

Like the 56kg powerlifter in the Olympics who can clean and jerk 400 pounds - some people are just inhumanely strong for their size.

    He'd beat and/or seriously hurt a top 20.

Yeah sure he didn't KO Canelo, but Canelo is one slick dude who even close up avoids most shots. Heavies would be static targets for GGG.

He'd also get damaged himself so not a good career move.
