the truth is, your hate and many others stems from the hate you guys already had for him...so nothing, i mean nothing is gonna change that at all.....

look on the other end, a bunch of us who were never even known as huge margo fans came together....while on the other end, it's still the same floyd mayweather fans who keep on hating....

My hate mostly comes for the ******ed method Arum used to promote him, I don't really dislike him as much as I like dislike his fans but they all come in the same package. When I see a fighter promote his self using other people's names when he's not even in their league then it's only reasonable for hate to kick in and negativity. His cheating tactics didn't make things better either especially after all the promotional bull**** they used about him scaring people to death when in reality he's the one ducking guys that beat him and in the face. That Paul Williams incident backfired on him SO bad they didn't know how to respond to it.

About him retiring Mayweather, you know that's bull**** so let's not even go there. The guy has 6 losses, this is not one to retire a canditate of greatest fighter of this generation(competing with Pacquiao) even if he tried a personal real life attack he would likely end up on the canvas again.

I agree....however, I can't blame anyone for "questioning" the win based on what has been reported. I for one am completely confused on whether or not they found plaster of paris or if it was similar elements that were found in common lotions.:huh Regardless I like to watch Tony fight....if he really did cheat he deserves to be banned for a long time.

I never said there was so much of it on there. I said there was enough to warrant a quick notice rather than just being smeared on there.

And clearly they got a sample, they tested it did they not? Or if you are referring to an actually physical sample, it probably dried up.

How more specific does it need to be Calcium and sulphur only thing missing was oxygen. Are you that blind? He got caught with his pants down and in my opinion got off easy. If your seamen does contain calcium and sulphur then you need to see a ****ing doctor.

My view is that Marg started cheating after the Williams fight. This coincides with a huge increase in his punching power which broke Citrons ribs and made cottos face into corned beef. Then he fights mosley and all of a sudden his punching power is far less significant. I will admit that I am only specualting but I am making an descion based on the events.

I also do not trust the Nevada state athletic commisson.

So marg gets a year suspension, public outcry is quelled and everyone goes back to making money. whether marg cheated in Cotto is irralevent the fact is he cheated and lost his credability.

The mosley situatrion is different.

Mosley was never actually caught in a fight or in a training camp using THG. When the Balco scandal was uncovered Mosley name was on the list but he was never actually caught cheating, He was never caught with the substances in his body. Mosley supposedly used the stuff in 2003 and only was suspected in 2007. Balco shut down its operation in 2004 so mosley could not have been roiding for years as some people claim he did.

Marg was caught just before a fight doing something which is highly illeagl. Mosley admitted to doing something illeagal but was never actually caught.

 

Not just because of what Arum said but as I said the entire situation back then. Even during the early stages of hyping Margarito they had all the signs of Vivian Harris around them just being in this new(for Floyd) division, even some journalists weren't shy to admit it whether they were against or with Mayweather. Let me tell you this, Margarito has been in the division ALL his career, why did the division have over 5 UNIFIED undisputed champions since 2000 and Margarito's name wasn't even a candidate?, you do realise that even during his promotional hype they couldn't bring up a SINGLE major win on his record but went on with it anyway as it sounded cool. If the guy had a record and something worth mentioning then I'll be the first to say Mayweather should fight him, why am I backing up claims of Mayweather HAVING to fight Pacquiao and Mosley now?, they're fighters like Margarito right?, look at their positions and their accomplishments and compare them with Margarito and you will get the idea.

The guy was being promoted as a the most feared man and he didn't have a single win worth fearing him for, simple as that. DLH and Marquez might have their share of losses but take a better look at who they fought and how they performed fighting them, those are guys worth looking at and fighting and building a record beating or at least competing with. Even if he loses to Marquez I won't take it as it's degrading because that's an A+ fighter he's fighting with and he proved he's A+ with the guys he fought. Don't give me this "NO ONE WANTED MARGO HOMIE" ****, there was a time when Marquez was saying the same till Pacquiao fought him when Hamed/Barrera/Morales didn't want to, eventually big ones comes and whenever they did for Margarito he fell short that's why he was being laughed at with his claims.

About the Williams fight, Margarito was cornered in that one. He had to either give up the WBO belt and listen to Arum or fight Williams(his mandatory). He decided to fight him to avoid taking **** about NOT being the most feared beast on the planet and we got the result of that one. Why didn't Margarito do like Williams did when he was claiming no one wants him?, why didn't he drop the WBOgus earlier and boost in rankings and FORCE the undisputed champion to fight him?, didn't it prove that he started getting the big fights when that belt went away anyway?. Things don't work by just calling and signing fights, this isn't WWE where every Sunday or Thursday you have Smackdown and RAW with everyone just running into one another by running down and into the ring following a script. There are many complications and Margarito's case was easily seen through and I've been saying it for a long time, now that it's true you don't see similar **** though it has become a hobby since Vivian Harris.
