After Vitali got embarrassed by Chris Byrd, Chris asked him for a rematch (knowing it would generate huge money), and Vitali's management responded by offering Byrd a fight with Wladimir.

Stylistically, Wladimir was a nightmare for Chris, and Wlad won by a lop-sided decision. When Chris asked for a rematch with Wlad, he got it. Vitali never wanted any further part of Chris Byrd, nor of any other fighter with that fast, elusive style (think Ruslan Chagaev, Eddie Chambers, and now David Haye who has recently adopted that slick style).

Vitali's resume is ridiculous. Try to find what his best win is, and you'll realise just how bad that resume is. A fat, old Corrie Sanders is generally considered to be Vitali's best win. David Haye is offering him a chance to actually have one good win on his resume, but Vitali's managers know better than to say yes to such a slick, dangerous opponent.:hi:

if you ever participated in any sport you would know that injuries happen. However, you never lifted your ass off your couch.
Also, nobody wanted to see Vitaly Byrd rematch after Byrd himself said Vitaly would beat him if not for the shoulder injury.

Haye's just a blown up CW. If Vitali was to scalp him it wouldn't even be a better win than Adamek. Vitali doesn't have time to be wasting his career against such a nobody. A nobody who's best win is a past it Mormeck. Vitali gains nothing from beating Haye. He may as well target Fury and Price who may actually achieve something in the sport.

Another moronic post. The German fans were cheering wildly when Byrd won. A rematch in Germany would have been huge. Vits didn't want none though.
