Every time I see ottke v reid I feel bad for reid what a ripoff. Ward is the same a cheater who complains the first time he gets a taste of his own medicin.

Yeah the Reid fight was a disgrace. Never thought something like that is possible in modern days but well it was.

Nevertheless, which other "countless atrocities" did Ottke commit? He had 4 fights that could have gone either way and went his, twice of those opponents were clearly beaten by him in rematches though. But I guess you are one of the people who thought Johnson had any argument for winning theit fight, too.

Don´t get me wrong, I never liked Ottke, he was and is a ****, inside and outside the ring, and he ruined Germany´s reputation like forever but there needs to be some balance when judging a fighter.

 

Ward is not as bad as old Sven but he is bad.He will come unstuck soon Im sure of it.

 

if you want "balance" don't defend a fighter who stained the sport like he did.

but ottke never held a legitimate belt and is the perfect posterchild with what is wrong with boxing federations.

 

Ottke held both the IBF and WBA belt ...

 

he can hold the 'mohammed ali, bruce lee' belt for all i care.

do you understand how many fighters hold belts in a certain division ?

Have just watched it.Not seen it for years and its worse than I remember it.That was a sad night for German boxing.

 

jones was the man at LHW because he held it on the world stage..anyone who doesnt do that doesnt have the network interest and notoriety jones had.

he was never a PPV draw but that didn't stop him being the man to beat for years.
