Mitchell and Larsen were robbed as was Brewer twice, his list of title defences is littered with journeymen that never deserved a shot. And yes, I am one those people that thought Johnson had an argument for winning the fight, but I don't mind Ottke getting the nod in that one.
Ward had some biased refereeing... True Ward had gift decisions... False These 2 shouldnt be compared.
i have no sympathy for larsen. he was a notorious euro fighter and it was laughable when he started calling out kessler.
And see that´s just bs based on hate more than anything else. The first Brewer fight could have gone either way. I scored it for Brewer by a round. The second Brewer fight was a clear win for Ottke by at least three rounds. The Mitchell fight could have gone either way. I scored it for Ottke by one round. The Larsen fight is an odd one. IMO it should have been a no contest since neither fighter did anything. It was not that Ottke won the fight but it was Larsen losing it because he just didn´t do anything. I scored it for Ottke by two rounds. Ottke beat Johnson clearly that was nearly a schooling, the only rounds Johnson where the ones Ottke let him win by just running when he knew he had the fight in the bag. Anybody who thinks this fight could have went to Johnson just shows his bias and thus can be ignored in such discussions. Littered with journeyman? WTF? He actually fought everybody his division had to offer at the time but Calzaghe - and neither fighter wanted the other and Joe C. was fighting the same guys Ottke did but nearly always after him, at the time ring magazine rated Ottke at one and Calzaghe at two - and his stablemate Beyer. edit: yeah I know this is esb and every close fight on here is automatically a robbery.
Yeah, Sauerland should have lost his TV contract, the ref and judges banned from boxing for ever. Same should have happened to Ottke. Are you even thinking before posting? Jones was not the man at lhw. There was no clear man at lhw at the time. Michaelchweski was the linear champ, Jones the ring champ. Both had a claim to be the champ and thus neither was. And they never fought which is a real pitty. So, by your definition, Jones never held a legitimate belt. I just ignore the rest because it makes no sense at all.
you did yourself a disservice by saying this. you are waving the flag and you can't help it when your heart clicks in... you were just trying to slip it by us until someone brought it up
Just watch out for this guy man. He's gonna call you a fat virgin and claim he's ****ing models from chicago  He makes absolutely no sense and refrains from making any of it whilst insulting you in the process...just move on with more productive debate.
DM was a euro fighter like otkke. he was very talented but he ended up just another euro fighter because, wait for it.... IT'S EASY TO BE A EURO LEGEND IF THE US NETWORKS DON'T KNOW YOU AND YOU HAVE NO INTERNATIONAL FANBASE.... why do i have to keep saying this? boxing is a business and it's not about the country you are living in - it's about making your mark where it matters. maybe michael jordan should've played basketball in germany while all his contempories played in the US maybe michael schumacher should have raced formula 3 and won 15 titles. would he have been a bigger champion because of it? seriously, why do i feel like i'm taking to a peanut all this ****ing time?
no you're waving a flag because you don't know how to look beyond what is happening infront of you. everyone is a product of their environment, but you're not GETTING IT
And as an Australian you can´t be biased? Because you clearly are. However, I made my point. This content is protected
no you haven't. you're reaching because you don't know what else to do. look, i don't judge people if i'm right and they are wrong - i judge people because they want to try and sell baby**** excuses for who they are in real life. i'd be embarassed if i did what you did this thread.
