How do you make a fight against a heavy bag exciting? Floyd wasn't going to knock him out...the man had exactly one positive quality, and that was that he was completely indestructable. Not that it should have been a PPV or anything, but the man held a belt and a linear title and carried an 8 million dollar pay day. I can't exactly fault Floyd for taking the fight and putting on a boxing lesson.

People who give Floyd stick for fighting Baldomir are ridiculous. ***** about who he fought AFTER he had the belt (no one, pretty much).

 

Because in almost all of Shane's fights he is typically the faster guy. And the majority of his last major fights were against come forward type fighters (oscar, cotto, vargas, margarito, mayorga).
