Fantastic performance and Froch is back in the S6 winning picture. While I did say he has some underrated skills not being credited for, I also expected Abraham to land his murderous long left or short right Pascal had a lot of success with, plus based on Arthur boxing well vs. Taylor, I just never saw this kind of dominance coming. Abraham was limited to a sharp lazy jab and a few lefts and rights, and had some competitive rounds, but Froch boxed superbly from the outside, outsmarting and outpunching AA all night, winning all but 1 round on my card (the 2nd). That's the way to do it, that's sweet science even if awkward, and he definitely learned from the Pascal fight that shootouts are risky, and he has nice skills to catch shorter fighters coming in.

Since Ward, who's very good on the outside but better on the inside loves to take the fight up close, these skills could be very useful for Frochy. I never ruled out Dirrell beating Ward IF he could stay outside and box on the move, and Froch for my big surprise did even better vs. AA than Andre did (who beat Froch on my card).

Wicked style match-ups Super 6 has, but also wicked ranking system. With both AA and Johnson having a single win by KO, if Johnson is ranked last, which is likely as I read somewhere - we'll get the pointless Froch-Abraham rematch? I don't get it why this wasn't a SF match, but my guess that Showtime knew pretty early Ward-Dirrell won't go through, and they couldn't make Ward-Johnson a SF, how that would've looked?

Anyway, Card Froch man, superb performance, great to see someone I underestimated and didn't give much chance at the beginning becoming the other favorite besides Ward to win the whole thing, and in that fight, you got my support!

Froch could win the S6 provided that Andre Ward drops out.

    Big props to Froch

But does anyone really want a abraham/froch rematch? I heard Abraham wants to quit the tournament leaving 3 fighters left. Where does Glen Johnson go from here?

the S6 is like a damn soap opera

Props to Froch from me as well. I was betting on a AA KO, but this was a really disappointing performance by Arthur. I had the impression that he didn't even try to put Froch under pressure, even after winning on points was pretty much ruled out.

Congrats to Froch, that was a great performance. Hopefully Arthur is reevaluating his options now. Ulli Wegner is a great trainer when it comes to motivating his fighter, but while watching the fight, I never had the impression that Wegner had any gameplay. Even if he had one: it didn't work out and he didn't give any kind of tactical advice what Arthur could do different.

If Arthur doesn't find a trainer who could teach him some skills how to close the distance against bigger and stronger fighters, and who could give him tactical advise if the fight is going against him, I don't see a chance in hell that AA beats Andre Ward. Hopefully Arthur takes a deep breath and considers switching to a new trainer, but who would be a good choice for Arthur?

Props against to Carl Froch! He did quite some trash talking before the fight, but he actually backed it up in the fight and he clearly deserved the win today :) Great job Carl

According to the tie-break rule, Froch vs. Johnson is next. If Abra quits, let's make Ward-Bute happen in spring, provided Ward beats Bika. Then Ward-Bute winner vs. Froch-Johnson winner. And then the ultimate winner against Pascal-Hopkins winner.

    I think its bull****.

    Abraham is 1-2

    Johnson is 1-0

    records wise

Johnson should be ranked higher, so it should be Johnson vs Froch and Abraham vs Ward....this whole re-match thing is bs based on records.

abraham lied to everyone including himself in thinking he would box any differently.

but i did expect it to be a bit more sticky for froch,be boxed even better than i imagined!.

    abraham has been badly exposed.

I think he wins either way. Ward is ridiculously overrated.

Disagree, homie. Ward is the bridge between the gulf in class between Calzaghe and Froch
