I was never a fan but I have to give him credit for spanking AA. I think it was a combo of overrating AA and underrating Froch. I thought AA would easily KO Froch but I was wrong.

I think AA is a limited fighter and will drop out of the super 6. I think he could make more money fighting a grudge match against Pavlik than fighting Ward. Plus he has a chance of winning.

As for Froch he is in tough with Glen Johnson (who earlier I thought would wipe the floor with Froch) but now is a pick'em fight.

I agree, AA has been exposed, it amazes me that people ever bought into this cat, Froch has earned his respect and I too think the Johnson fight is going to be great.

I've gone from hating Froch, to not hating him, to granting him grudging respect, to granting him lots of respect, to being almost a Froch fan.

if we forget about Jonhson Breaking that Glass he really hasnt won any meaningful fight at his whole career and he is not gonna start it now.

Huge respect for Road warrior but he isnothing more than a tough journeyman.

Same here. I rooted against him when he fought Dirrell, rooted against him when he fought Kessler but he somehow won me over with that performance. I expected him to get demolished by the Dane but he did much better then I thought he would and earned my respect. Then against AA, I was actually rooting for him to win.

Froch surprised me last night by being restrained and executing his plan and outboxed AA with ease. I never thought AA had the workrate to really be a threat though I never expected Froch to shut him out.

I am not close to being a fan but I respect the dude now. He has a solid resume but i think he was more lucky than good a couple times.

Carl's decision over Abraham did not surprise me. I don't think I ever did make a definitive pick before the fight. I thought AA by KO or Froch on points were equally likely. One thing did surprise me. Froch did not correct any of his flaws. He fought exactly like he always fights, and slaughtered Abraham. Froch gets his props, but AA is even more of a one-trick pony than I always said he was.
