He's on the slide but if he gives his all, he can still do B to B+ which is enough to beat most guys out there, but probably not the likes of Bute, Ward and Dirrell.

Kessler looked more motivated, but he still made many of the same mistakes that Ward capitalized on. He doesn't throw with enough punch variety, is pretty easy to time, leaves himself far too open to counters and doesn't have the quickest hands.

If anything the fight last night convinced me that the Ward fight wasn't a fluke, and that fast, athletic fighters that showed a lot of movement and different looks would always be trouble for Kessler.

Not really. The Kessler that fought against Froch was clearly better prepared and more determined than the one who fought against Ward. A lot of it also has to do with different styles of his opponents.

I think if Kessler stays motivated then he has a chance against all 3 mentioned, he wasnt the faverouite for nothing.

He was the favourite on the assumption he was still a peak, prime Kessler, which he is not. A chance? Sure, he's got a good chance, but I don't think he would be favourite.

    True,

For the whole tournament i would favour Ward as it stands, but i wouldnt rule out a Kessler comeback either.

It wasn't that impressive on Kessler's part, but a win is a win, and now he can probably get past Green as well and make his way to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Im not very impressed with Kessler,i actually think Froch won the fight, and would love to see a rematch,i think Froch would stop him.The thing i liked about Kessler,is he showed urgency,he showed that his carreer is very important to him, alot of fighters on the slide would just give up he didnt,he fought hard,I've just never thought he was a very impressive fighter.

Kessler cannot beat Ward, man. He probably cannot beat Dirrell either. These two guys just move too well, they're too versatile, too precise, too fast, too smart, too athletic...

....and they're getting better with every fight, lest we forget.
