    Yeah me too ^

But I wanted Maidana to win this one to humble him. Broner does too much unnecessarily stupid ****. Very disrespectful to most fighters.

:good:thumbsup:deal he aint even close to Floyd really. The way he stands kinda makes one assume he is about to evade shots just like Floyd, but he lacks the speed the timing and the character to be compared to Mayweather.

Marcos's raw power may have had a big effect on him too?:huh

Yeah Maidana did fight and excellent fight he actually outboxed Broner for the most part. I was very impressed with his gameplan. Broner is a slow starter and they jumped on him from the opening bell. Great work by Maidana and his team.

Spoken like a gentleman. Can't always be right about predictions. Broner really does have some serious weaknesses. I never saw him as being remotely as good as Mayweather. I think the shoulder roll and the attitude gave people the wrong impression of equivalence of some sort. For one thing, his footwork is not good enough to employ against all styles of fighters. I can imagine Manny spinning around and pot shotting Broner all night, and Shawn Porter swarming him all night. And he doesn't throw enough punches if he stays at Welter where people can take his power. At 135 he can still KO a lot of guys (although he's lucky he's not in the era of Arguello, Pryor, Duran et al. at that weight).

Hey, I'm no Broner fan but I thought he would win as did most industry insiders. Turns out Garcia was right that the Malignaggi gameplan + Maidana's intensity and power would be enough to beat Broner. AB needed to change up and throw punches to turn the fight around - but he left it too late.

Well, Broner IS a sharpshooter like PBF as well - very accurate with his punches. That's his best trait, imo along with the speed.

Sorry Pimp but you are nothing but a manipulative fraud. I've seen you in plenty of other topics calling guys dumb a$$es who don't agree with you, saying they don't know sh!t about boxing, blabla this blabla that.

Now it's been proven that you're the real dumb a$$ for picking Broner, and you know a shitstorm is coming your way, so you try to wriggle out of it with an "apology" lmao :rofl Oh man nice try dude, you may have some guys fooled into thinking that you're a "gentleman" but most guys know that you're an ignorant fool who doesn't know Sh!t about boxing. A coward too. :hi:

TBF it wasn't that bad a prediction, it was a fight that could have gone either way and now that Broner has adjusted to Maidana's style, rematch is 50/50.

See this is what you don't get. I have made threads before like this when I picked the wrong guy and was wrong. I've also honored avatar bets when wrong as well. You make wrong predictions and you make right ones, it comes with being a boxing fan. You see unlike you I don't hide behind an alt I stand behind my predictions offer no excuses like a man. I'm still a Broner fan but he has some work to do. He needs to take boxing more seriously for starters and thinking that he's PBF because he's not.

Good on you coming here and man up about your prediction.

I could not stay up late enough last night and kinda went to bed thinking there was a good chance i would have to eat some crow seeing as Stephen Edwards predicted Broner to win due to Maidana not being able to take it to the body.

no one can foresee the way a fighter is going to act when he becomes a talking point. Broner may well have choked under the pressure of needing to win what was a career enhancing fight. Igf he had of won? there was talk of his fighting floyd, and thats a big payday for anyman on the planet.

Maidana didnt look that great to be fair, but he worked and landed enough blows to cause problems for the problem.

Guys like Maidana cant ever be taken lightly, esp since they got beat by guys who you have no respect for....like Khan for instance.

Just a learning call for all of us really. One can never be right all the time when it comes to predicting outcomes, because people have a tendency to crack under pressure. Humans come undone when the pressure gets turned up and Broner is no exception.

Floyd deals with the pressure well considering a loss would end with him being made a laughing stock for the many haters that would never let him forget it.....and those who just dont like him or his style of fighting.:deal

Fair play, I did the same thing after Alvarado outboxed Rios in the second fight, I discredited his ability beforehand but he proved me wrong and I was happy for him that he did

I knew one way or another though that Adrien Broner was gonna get a ****ing hell of a wakeup call last night, a spoilt brat being put in with one of the toughest, hardest men in boxing, recipe for disaster, god it ws such a pleasure watching him get, as you might say, "sonned"
