Valero is a C+ fighter that'll be blown out in 1-2 rounds by Pac, don't kid yourself here mate. It's an easy fight vs. an overrated hype job who's undefeated, no challenge. But everyone else is tied up, so no issue with this match as a tune up for Pac, hope he fights someone worth while after it though, like the Campbell/Guzman winner.
Oh come on man, there is no problem with this fight at all, it's a fine tune up/stay busy fight against a noted hype job, but don't make out like Valero is a serious top fighter here.
Are you kidding me?! Valero more challenging than Campbell at this point? The guy has a shaky jaw and no defence and is slow as ****, relying on his huge power against limited opposition that give him trouble. Campbell is a real top fighter, larger than Pac and is currently the unified LW champion.atsch
Its not like Pacquiao can fight Campbell next since he has a bout with Guzman to deal with first. So the fight with Valero has been confirmed? Any word on the location yet? Texas, or maybe Macau? Hope it will be an entertaining fight.
He is going to get his shot to be. You would have given Mayorga little chance with Forrest. I know this because I know you (by the way I gave him little chance also). Crazier things have happened.
I don't see how Cambell beats Pacquiao. But I can see Valero landing a chin checker on Pac with his high out put punches lol.
Mayorga was relatively quick, tough chinned and other factors going in, such as good timing in his sloppy mess, this was all evident to see. I'd have easily picked Forrest, but don't compare a complete journeyman level fighter in Valero, to a contender level fighter in Mayorga just for the sake of comparing.
So ****in true, this guy beats Diaz and had the best fight of his career and all of a sudden he is a premier darkhorse of the sport lol...They have forgotten how erratic this fighter is..he is one of the luckiest champ out there to pull off that upset. I really do hope Manny fights this guy..it will be a slaughter..actually Nate would look very old...and so theres the excuse right there
So what is this fight for? The 130 belt is not on line, and the fight is at 135. Is it a tune-up fight? Because if it is a tune-up fight, then Arum must be crazy pitting a Valero against Pac. Eventhough Valero is slow as turtle, he can crack. The risk is high with no benefit whatsoever to Pac. It just proves that Valerois a hype job if Pac wins and a disaster if Valero wins. Props though to Pac if this is just a tune-up fight. A WBA champion as a tune-up fight!!!!!!!!! That is much more than some champions that had held belts and fight the number 15 or 17th ranked fighter for title defense.
A little different, we know plenty about Valero with all of the video we can view on the net, to see there is little to nothing there in terms of quality. Had there been video all over of Mayorga, we'd have seen that he was at the very least, a dangerous contender level fighter with good power and solid speed. It's not comparable, enough with the blind eye bull**** in place of correct and solid analysis.
what are you talking about??? ... he just had a tune up fight to test the waters at 135 ... i really think that he deserves this tune up fight... hes considered to be the p4p king so its just right to make those abc belt holders as tune ups
Guzman is going to destroy Cambell Pac is going to destroy Valero And if we get Pac vs Guzman: Then Pacquiao's career/resume/balls....= Insane even if he losses.
