This is for the fans and is good for boxing... we might see some old school kinda fight in this one. I just hope nobody gets seriously hurt.

 

I do hope that Valero fight someone respectable in the US first before fighting Pacman just to make a name for himself. Their fight is in November, he can still squeeze a fight on early August.

 

i'd rather see pac-jmm3 first. and winner of campbell-guzman versus winner of diaz-katsidis. that would be fun

 

He'd have to fight another Japanese sushi maker if he's gonna squeeze in a fight. Plus he's risking his "O" if he does fight somebody respectable. You know who would be a decent opponent that is asking for a paycheck in his career: Jason Litzau.

I agree. I think Valero will be an interesting opponent. He is a more dangerous opponent than Diaz, and will make for an exciting fight. I think he has enough handspeed for sure to draw Manny into a WAR. It will be good while it lasts.

 

Unlike your posts my posts are succint and simple (this is a boxing forum)...basically what I said was Mayorga aint better than Valero..They have basically the same styles, give or take (one hits harder, one has beaten a good fighter) nothing separates them really in terms of talent and skills.

What you are telling us, since brevity aint your strong point is.. You dont think Valero is good and therefore Pac shoudlnt be fighting him...And Mayorga is better than Valero. If thats what you meant then you are in the minority in the former. But you like that coz its "cool":deal

To say that nothing separates Valero and a prime Mayorga with talent and skills, what more do you want me to say other than pointing out what is different, even with an example? What explanation.??.I stopped reading when you said Mayorga had good timing..:rofl .. Is that why he was swinging mostly at air in his prime against trinidad (whos known for elusiveness).. And just for facts he wasnt exactly using Forrest as target practice in that fight, very few connected, Vernon just didnt have the heart...again his timing is not good..even relatively speaking :hi:
