Cotto fought well even with the constant bleeding that became a problem in the later rounds, it affects breathing... I do agree Cotto didn't use his usual body attack, but watching the fight, Margarito cover his body pretty good. So instically you go for the opening. Surprisingly which no one has mention, Cotto only went southpaw once in the fight, and landed an easy shot. We all know Margaritos has had trouble with southpaws. A rematch in the near future should be in the talks. Cotto would learn a lot from this defeat even with little things such us using clinches though many of us hate it, but it helps a boxer a lot. Finally congrats to Margarito and his fans.

I'm glad you are seeing some light now. It's not all about skills. Pac has Prove that theory wrong in his many fights. Most of your buddies like amsty, KG & Sweepea I guess were all wrong again.

For me it was simple why I pick Margo. I just go by Chin factor as I know both can hit and can be hit.

Dont lecture me about boxing PacD. I made a thread weeks ago about boxing not being about skills but effectiveness. In any event, your not in any place to talk down to me from a boxing knowledge perspective.

..............To some extent, you could see how Cotto was going to try to box his way to a decision win, which was what I had predicted. He's been boxing more recently, and figured he could just outclass the more limited Margarito. Particularly since Margarito was so much bigger, it figured he'd move more and box. He just ran out of real estate.

Cotto is not the better fighter. He may have better boxing skills, but he is definitely not the better fighter. Rematch? Cotto will lose worse the second time around.
