Name exactly what round he was "hurt" in?...Sure he was stunned a few times and had a bloody mouth...but he never hurt in his fight with Zab retreat his assault on him. Obviously indicating he wasn't hurt.

And Mosley...He might've been more hurt...but let's face it. The man who just broke and beat the **** outta Margarito is now discovered for his power. I'm not sure if anyone else could've taken those shots...Margarito obviously couldn't handle and Cotto made the wise choice of staying away from those shots...

Quintana is a pretty big puncher. His KO record speaks for itself. Cotto has shown no signs of wilting or being dazed and ready for canvas in any of his 147 fights...your just a ****in' ass hater :good:verysad

 

No props to Margarito, he had no choice but to keep getting his ass kicked and "go out on his shield". If he had quit it would just have brought him more negative attention on top of the s**t storm he's already in.

Fine...pass granted...but even still...I will just state that the uppercuts wouldn't have THAT MUCH damage if they were not loaded. His stamina wouldnt have been as horrible and he would've made it to the final bell to secure himself another UD...

One minute you claim you don't care about what people said and then mention what they said in almost all of your posts regarding Margarito.

It's true that some act like assholes but the Margarito fans didn't act any better and you were one of the people to agree with them so it's time to drink some of the same medicine.

 

Exactly. There is NO proof whatsoever, nor will there be, that Margarito did anything wrong in that fight. And, given Cotto's history of getting wobbled, knocked down, or otherwise put on ***** street, it's more like his poor punch resistance is what accounts for that loss.

 

Look at all these posters now claiming Margo used loaded gloves against Cotto :-(

This is exactly what some other posters are saying here - the jury is still out on what exactly the substance found in Margo's wraps before the Mosley fight on Saturday, and there IS NO jury on the Cotto fight, because NO foreign substance was found in Margo's wraps before, during, or after that fight...and don't try to insinuate lack of professionalism or dereliction of duty on the part of the officials before the Cotto fight just because it conveniently fits your agenda :nono

As well as punching seven shades of **** out of Cotto, Margo also took all of Cotto's best shots and never backed off. Did Margo load his chin for that fight too you guys? :-(

I'm as disappointed as anybody else over this news, but I'm going to wait until I hear the official verdict before I decide rustle up a lynch mob and go after Margo.

Why is the jury still out on Marg's gloves? Anyway you put it there was a foreign object in them and that's illegal. No matter how you look at it. NOONE ever said Marg loaded his chin, it's just VERY weird how he was so willing to take Cotto's shots because when he hit Cotto back he hurt Cotto more. No loaded gloves against Mosley and his power isn't there and after a while he's not so willing to stand in front of Mosley.

There's no jury on that, he was busted. If it was no big deal why did the commision make him rewrap 3 times? And your're right, there's no proof about the Cotto fight, but that fight sure does look suspect now. Once a cheater ALWAYS a cheater. He's probably been getting away with this for a long time. He puts the pad on before he wraps his hand, there's no excuse for that. At all.
