Ward had that match regardless, I have no doubts the match was definitely going to Ward; Kovalev was fading fast. But why stop the fight that's ridiculous! Ward did not intend to do it through low blows I have no doubt of that. But here's he strange thing; Kovalev didn't really protest the low blow at all until Kellerman spoke of it. Imagine losing a controversial decision first time round and then another one you'd be absolutely furious especially someone of Kovas temperament. But there he was with all his family seeming pretty chuffed really.
