I am not a fan of either Klitschko but Wladimir's call out of David Haye was one of the best call outs I have seen by far! This type of coverage is what boxing needs and the call out has already got a lot of casual fans interested in the fight.

I am a big David Haye fan but an even bigger boxing fan and I feel that Haye needs to take this fight or at least fight Vitali, forget the fights falling through in the past, the fight needs to happen now, if Haye does not fight a Klitschko next (preferably Wladimir), then there is nothing anyone can say to defend him.

    Yeah. Was good.

I'm also a fan of Haye and if he doesn't fight them next he will look like a dick. He's been saying they've been ducking them and such and it will look bad if he doesn't man up to the occasion.

    Wlad's just being smart.

He sees Haye coming for him in eighteen months or so and wants to take it now, before he gets too old, before he has to concede too much of the take, before Haye gets more experience at handling genuine heavies, and before Haye develops a bigger profile. Wlad's profitability on the fight is probably maxed-out now. Haye's will probably max in a year or two.

This has nothing to do with relative skill; it's business.

Since when does the champ call out the challenger lol, Wlad must really be pissed, good on him though, i will support Haye but will not begudge Wlad a victory especially if it re-ignites the heavy weight division world-wide

It's a very smart move, if he offers a **** contract and Haye refuses he knows it will make Haye look bad as Wlad has done all the calling out. He's trying to force Haye's hand. He also knows that he won't lose anything if the fight doesn't happen as he makes good money fighting tomato cans in Germany anyway. He's put Haye in a difficult position.

As long as Wlad doesn't take the **** with the demands, it's all good. Its not a simple as the champ calling him out therefore Haye has to fight him. Wlad has to put his money where his mouth is. Mind you it will be a huge pot so fingers crossed eh

    Agree.

Fact is Wlad could easily wait 12-24 months, the guy will only be 36, a full 18 months younger than when Lewis fought Vitali.

There's plenty of time, I only have an issue if Haye never fights Wlad, if he fights him 2 years from now I'm cool.

Haye has a belt as well and Wlad wants to unify so it's not really the same thing as if he called out Tony Thompson.
