Prospect Glass Jaw Watch

The way I see it is that everyone has a glass jaw, and instead of people being isolated for having it, they should be more isolated for NOT having it.

The majority of boxers could be KOed by one clean punch. There are some that can just take a punch, and their existance is much more rare. Posting them would not only be better for that, but avoids adding more hate to the site.

Nice to see someone sees this. I have been saying for some time that most fighers have shaky chins of one degree or another. Some are complete glass, like Fraudley, Hasim Rahman, or Enzo Maccarinelli. Others are quite shaky like Wlad Klitschko. Still others are a slightly better than that. And so on.

But the bottom line, as you point out, is that MOST boxers have less than perfect chins. And that's why the Chincheckers are needed so badly, to make boxing fans aware of this reality.

Andre Ward should be added to that list. He's a future Glass Jawed disgrace.

 

Interesting. I too have some question about his ability to take a punch. I think he will beat Abraham, BUT, if he is indeed hiding some china in that chin, it could be another story. I wonder if we might see some shattered glass this weekend?

 

It's always a possibility when any grade of Chinaware is on display.
