Over on Bad Left Hook a user named Radu has published a series of fanposts providing in-depth ****ysis of the strengths and weaknesses of some of the most interesting propsects right now. These posts don't reach much of an audience over there and they're way too insightful to fall under the radar, so I figured I'd post them here for your perusal. If he publishes any more I'll add them to the OP.

Here are the links so far:
    Anthony Joshua
    (posted April 2015)
    Dmitry Bivol
    Kosei Tanaka
(posted just before the Saludar fight)
    Jose Carlos Ramirez
    Saul Rodriguez
    Joseph 'JoJo' Diaz Jr.
    Brian Castano

    Callum Smith
    22 year old Evander Holyfield
    Oleksandr Usyk
    Errol Spence Jr.
    Artur Beterbiev

The Tanaka one is really interesting, he was dropped the following fight and has now made it clear he's moving up, having our grown the weight.

As for the lack of Takuma Inoue footage...there really has been a lack but there is a fair bit out there now. Something probably to do with locale, Nagoya REALLY likes to hype it's guys whilst Tokyo is a bit more packed with stars.

Brian Castano beat both Errol Spence and Serhiy Derevianchenko in the ams? Very impressive if really true!

he is really worth a thread, I rate him highly anyway:good

I don't really like this guys style of ****ysis, he is trying to be objective and through but he comes across as reaching to find praise and fault.

not too make you big headed cst but I prefer your style of short brief background, brief ****ysis and then the videos so you can decide for yourself

Thanks for the compliment, I don't want to make people's minds up for them, I just want to expose them to these guys, hence the Educate Yourselves tagline.

    Don't worry you're not going to give me a big head. I've had that since I was a child.:yep

I like Jo Jo but for some reason I've just never got around to it. Maybe I will in the next few days, I went almost a year before doing one on Julian Ramirez even though I had him on a short list when I first started doing them back in Sept of 2014.

I enjoy CST's threads too, I think they serve a slightly different purpose though. Personally, I don't have an eye nuanced enough to pick out all the things a fighter is great at or needs to work on, so I appreciate when folks explain some of the little details. It's interesting watching the fights with these subtleties in mind--a learning experience for me really--even if I find I disagree in certain cases. When fighters get to the top level it can be these little things that can often decide fights.

Not bad, especially considering English is clearly not Radu's 1st language.

Thanks, you did a pretty good job on the Castano thread that I read I'll get to the rest of them when I have more time. I know two guys on here named Radu now. You and Beastside Boxing.

The little I've seen of Haney he looks decent, I haven't seen very much Michael Nevin yet. Other than the fight with his cousin John Joe.

Michael Nevin is the current European youth champion and is underage again next year. to win this year euro youth he beat Bibert Tumenov a reign world youth champion who was over a year older than him. they kid is amazing

I like haney, also liked that he just turned 17 and has turned pro
