Floyd Mayweather.... I think as soon as he's tested by top level opposition he will crumble.

Of what IB listed, I agree with: Abdusalmonov, Mayfield, Kayode, Gonzalez

Guys I disagree with: Thurman, Fortuna, Stevenson (I'm not huge on these guys, but I do think what they do, they do real well and pose a real threat to top 10 guys around their division already because of so)

Frankie Gavin is my choice. Since the day he turned pro with his lauded amateur record, I've never seen one fight that's impressed me. I honestly can't think of one aspect of his game that's above average.

    What about Porter and Vassell?

Thurman and Fortuna are going to have a hard road to erase my disappointing first impression of them (especially after having them both pumped up so much prior to seeing them).

Stevenson will never be able to dispel the Darnell Boone impression.

I kid I kid, just got in there before someone else did.
I'll say honestly Tyson Fury, what he needs to do is fight a couple mid level guys, keep running his mouth, create an exciting match between him and Price which i'd guess he'd lose by ko and he'll have done well in that and made his cash.

    Patrick Nielsen.

Touted to be Denmarks next Mikkel Kessler. Where in truth he just looks very slow and ordinary. And he doesnt really have the power to make up for his speed.

His best weapon is his fundamental boxing skills, but they won't be enough to give him a win vs a top 15 Middleweight.

Well, I'm not as high on any of them as those who are moderately high on all of them.

See, I was so low on Thurman that the Lora and Quintana fights actually did impress me. He fights like a pro bar brawler, but I do think he'd take out many guys in his way fighting as such. I wouldn't pick him over Alexander or Brook, although I'd give a better shot than most, but I would confidently pick him over, say, Maidana, Paulie, and Berto.

Stevenson has insane power and physique. I see him blasting through almost everyone who doesn't have a solid tested chin at 168 (even though it took him a while with George, so who knows). Style wise, I'd see him beating Abraham, Stieglitz, etc. I think he'd get outworked by Oosth. and obviously controlled by Ward, Froch, and Kessler, but even for them, it would be a tough day at the office if they can't hurt him or get Adonis out quickly.

Shawn Porter I am so on the fence on. I think he'll be groomed and matched up solid and thus will be in the "top 10" per division conversation for a few years potentially, but there's nothing about him that strikes me as a long time titlist or dominant challenger or anything like that.

I don't pretend to know things I don't, so I'll hold off saying anything about Vassell...
