Haven't seen any real hype for Vassell to be honest, tough but domestic

I will say this, he doesnt quite fit the 'prospect' bill.... but Rios is someone I think has topped out in terms of, I dont think he will beat anyone better then Alvarado. If he does, I will happily eat my crow because I do like Rios. But I think hes getting a bit hyped relative to his actual ability (Ive seen more then once him being touted higher then Matthysse)

So while not a prospect, and I do like him as a fighter, n hes solid.... I dont share the enthusiasm for his potential as a ruler of any division in the future.

Thats why they fight em out though. He def can prove me wrong and either way, Ill be following because win or lose hes going to be giving us fans our moneys worth, and putting opponents through hell.

If you are going with Rios then I'm going with Oddly Harrison just to watch IB blow a gasket as his thread deteriorates.

Ok sorry IB, this is indeed not a thread on just anybody but prospects

    hmmm :think

The ones I would have named, Helenius and Seth, have already kinda lost their hype... if I had to choose one I might go with Shawn Porter

Not much to be fair. Only a couple of Brits projected him to world level; they might have been trolling.

We've had this discussion during a RBR, but I'm high on Jesse as well. Solid kid.

Thurman would 'murk Zavek. However I figure, ultimately, Zavek will not take the fight.

He probably is not quite ready to be retired(again!).

Maybe, just maybe, that will put him over the "don't see it" hump. Doesn't matter though. He will just keep ko'ing these "cans".

Thing is, the guy(Thurman) is getting dates on hbo and sho. Why aren't fighters calling him out? Especially if he is so beatable.

Really? Haven't seen this said to be honest, I'm surprised anyone would think he'd have that potential.

I'm a bit higher on Vassell than most, but even I think his ceiling is European level at best. He's right now stuck in a domestic triangle with Gavin and Purdy for me to determine who is truly the best.

I think Vassell can beat both of those, but he'll never approach world-class.

Russell certainly has the talent and skills, but he just doesn't seem too motivated out there. His promoters should have him fighting on a regular basis.

It might be too early for Fun Time, but I'd actually back Lee in a rematch. He's been on a fine run of form since they met 3 years ago (aside from the Lynes hiccup) where I think Denton has sort of plateaued in his ability.
