Well Rio is close, so who are your picks for medals in Rio, and your picks for the ones who would be the best pros?

    I chose:
All the cuban squad but some of them
    Antonio Vargas
    Shakur Stevenson
    Mohammed Rabii
    Daniyar Yeleussinov
    Robson Concencao (getting old)
    Albert Selimov (getting old)

    Tony Yoka
    Michael Conlan

The majority of Olympians this year have at least some WSB and/or APB experience and have been fighting under the no headgear/pro scoring system for the past 3-4 years and thus are more equipped to adapt to the professional ranks faster than amateurs before them. You see a lot of these guys going pro and being moved quickly, beating good opposition very early on.

Rabii and any of the Azeris are unlikely to ever go pro IMO, they're basically set for life as are lots of Kazakhs and Uzbeks, no reason to go pro when you can stick around and get government/politics positions.

As for the Cubans, seems like quite a while since a real major name from the podium squad has defected but they'd all be good pros, they're lights out for the most part in WSB.

Vassily Levit wants to go pro after Rio and he'd be a force at cruiser. Filip Hrgovic, Yoka, Joe Joyce will all go pro I'd expect, Joyce already said he is.

All the Americans will most likely go pro except maybe Awesome who isn't so awesome and has a horrible style for the pros. Stevenson will be a future champ no doubt and I like Carlos Balderas a lot.

Conlan and Paddy Barnes will prob go pro and I'd expect both to be excellent.

Also think it's likely that the whole GB team goes pro, most of them with Eddie Hearn. One thing about the GB guys is they have some of the best conditioning out of any team and their system has made drastic improvements over the last 2 Olympics. Galal Yafai may be the best of the Yafai brothers eventually.

Sad because Rabii for me is the guy more suited for the pros.
