    How did you see their performances tonight? What did you like and dislike about their PERFORMANCE and an overall rating?

    DeGale - 6/10 - Decent enough performance in bursts, but didn't setup attacks, no jab, struggled to find rhythm, but showed some class moments. Slight concern with the power but luckily he's finding some clean punching.

    BJS - 7/10 - I was relatively impressed compared to what I'd seen previously. He did show some nice head movement and body punching and offensive variety in general and threw a lot of punches. Looked in slightly better shape. Concerns would be the way he sits on his opponents chest, should give himself more space and sit down on more punches.

    Gavin - 9/10 - Did the job against a guy from the local pub. Didn't get hit and won easily, no problems, point off for getting himself cut by leaving his head in there.

    Walsh 10/10 - The surprise package for me having never seen him. Moved well, very accurate, picked the body shots beautifully and showed real power too. Couldn't nitpick at anything there.

    I think I'm being a bit harsh rating BJS over DeGale on second thoughts purely on performance level. It's more based on expectations and age. I think DeGale's capable of much better whereas BJS showed some improvement.

    DeGale 7/10 - Best opponent so far, clearly won every round but was going for the knockout too much and didn't set his punches up. Hasn't got the power of Renda ;)

    Saunders 8/10 - I was impressed. Loved the body work and showed flashes of his reflexes - hopefully the power starts to develop.

    Gavin 8/10 - Dominated an opponent that hadn't been stopped before, premature stoppage though and would liked to have seen him go a couple more rounds to see his full repertoire.

    Walsh 8/10 - Clearly the best 'Walsh brother' of the 3 showing his class once again, took his opponent out well.

    I'll rate him myself then,,,,,, 7/10 for Ashley Sexton

    Sexton disapointed me a bit considering he was expected to be the saviour of the little men. He was against an opponent a lot better than these so its an unfair comparison. The reason people thought Sexton was something special was precisely because he was fighting guys like these.

    5/10 for me - showed plenty of heart, grit, determination, but he got outboxed for the most part in the first 8 rounds and his defence is poor.

    Having said that, I will be picking him to win the rematch now that he knows what to do.

    I'm waiting for Colin and Rob's opinion of the fight after they were rating him so highly beforehand :yep

    All of them looked pretty good. No huge problems really. However Degale looked rather sloppy at times in his fight probably because he had no respect for his opponent. Good finish though. BJS looked good but lacks a bit of power and needs to move down in weight. Good performances but they need to step up imo.

    Thought Degale got caught a fair bit, but I guess that may be because he didn't have much respect for Horton's power: he just marched forward. If he gets caught like that by someone with decent power, it could be a different story, still I guess he'd fight differently.

    I would agree with most of that...his one problem is winging in wild shots that miss by a mile...when he steps up and faces a half decent counter puncher who can take advantage he will be in trouble.

    Maybe DeGale will become the counterpuncher against a good opponent that actually has power and doesn't run. I thought that would be a natural style for him. He's forced to become something else against these opponents.

    In the fights that i've seen he doesn't seem that comfortable on the back foot
